- Instruction and guidance will be given on an individual basis to each student.
-Paint what you want. Bring your own photo to work from or choose from a selection provided. (Over 80 photos to choose from) If you choose to bring your own photo, please bring a printed copy to work from. Please do not bring a photo on a phone, it is very difficult to work from a phone.
Landscapes/Seascapes/Abstract (*Please no portraits)
Included: One canvas (a selection of size options available), acrylic paint, use of brushes, easel, apron and various other art materials.
Must be 21+
So that everyone gets plenty of one-on-one attention, class size is limited to 10 people.

You are welcome to bring in your own photo to paint from or choose from a provided selection when you arrive. (Landscape, seascape, or abstract -no portraits please)

How is this class different?
Hi, My name is Sarah McCourt and I am the owner and artist of Canvas, Paint and Wine, Oh My!
I've been teaching step-by-step painting classes at my studio, as well as for numerous corporate clients since 2011. I've discovered what people love about painting and what I love about teaching. I find it so thrilling to be able to see the expression on a person's face when they create something they never thought possible.
I've created this "Friday Night Paint" class based on what peaks most students' interests when learning to paint. I teach how to paint from photo in "Friday Night Paint' using a similar approach to how I teach my step-by-step classes. However, in this class, each person is painting their own painting as I give individual guidance.
My goal is to create a positive and relaxed environment (without intimidation) while teaching my classes.
